Peoples Rules & Regulations

 

Welcome to Peoples Park Caravan Village, Coral Bay. We are delighted to have you stay with us and wish you an enjoyable and carefree holiday.

Should you have any questions or require assistance, please contact the

friendly staff in our Park Office, who will be happy to assist you.

 

 

 Check in time is 2.00pm  (cabins/villas) & 11.00am (Camping sites)  

Check out time is 10.00am

                                                  

 

RENT

Rent must be paid in advance and please note there are NO REFUNDS!

 

AFTER HOURS

If you have any urgent needs after hours, please call the Manager on 0427 863 002. Office opening hours are 7.30am-6.00pm.

 

OCEAN FRONT SITES

Only caravans, campervans & motorhomes are allowed in this area. All tents and campertrailers must occupy the Pioneer Sites.

 

CABIN BONDS

On arrival we ask you to fill out a credit card bond form or alternatively pay $100 cash to be held as a bond to cover the following; excessive cleaning, malicious damage, repairs and/or replacements of any items damaged or lost during your stay. If you wish to collect your credit card bond form or cash bond on departure, please see the Caravan Park Reception before your departure and we can inspect your cabin before you leave.

            

FISHING

As Coral Bay is located within a marine park, there are set boundaries and regulations in regards to fishing. Information is provided in the Caravan Park Reception and with tour operators throughout town. There is also a CALM (Conservation and Land Management) office across the street from the park that can provide you with all the up-to-date fishing information. Located near the CALM office are fish cleaning tables, your offal needs to be taken directly out to the tip. Please DO NOT clean fish within the Caravan Park or Cabins. 

 

NOISE

All guests must be resepectful at all times to eachother and no noise that may offend other guests is permitted. Quiet time in the Caravan Park after 10.00pm please!!! 

 

SPEED

The speed limit within the Caravan Park is strictly 5km per hour / walking pace. This also includes the use of bicycles.

 

PETS

No pets are allowed in the Caravan Park.

 

CABIN / VILLA SERVICING

To make your stay more comfortable, we will provide you with fresh towels twice weekly, and provide a full linen change once per week. Please leave your cabin /villa in a reasonably tidy state upon leaving including ensuring that all dishes used have been thoroughly cleaned.

 

SMOKING

Smoking is NOT permitted inside the cabins.  Guests found smoking inside the cabins will be charged a $100.00 additional cleaning fee.

 

TV & DVD

Each cabin / villa contains a satellite TV which has a variety of channels and radio for your enjoyment. DVD’s can be hired from the newsagency at the Coral Bay Shopping Centre. We have only just installed satellite TV’s into the cabins, and they are a huge improvement on the usual “Coral Bay” reception!

 

VISITORS

Please notify the office if you have any unofficial guests staying with you. Visitors cars must be left outside the Park at all times. You will be responsible for any damage or noise your visitors make while at your cabin. All overnight Visitors are required to pay at the Caravan Park Reception on arrival.

 

WATER

Peoples Park Caravan Village is the first and only accommodation and camping grounds in Coral Bay to provide fresh water showers to all of our guests!!!!

 

Artesian bore water is still used on all of our sites and is undrinkable. However, you can obtain water for drinking and cooking at the marked taps around the park. It is recommended to fill your tanks prior to arriving in Coral Bay. Fresh water is provided in all of our Cabin and Deluxe Accommodation.

 

VISITORS CAR PARKING

Only one car is strictly permitted per site. This car must be registered at the Caravan Park Reception on arrival. All other vehicles or visitors vehicles must remain in the vistors parking section outside the park grounds.

 

QUAD BIKES / RECREATIONAL MOTOR BIKES

No Quad bikes, trail bikes or recreational motor bikes are to be ridden in the park under any circumstances.

 

OPEN FIRES

Are not permitted in the Park. Use only approved barbeques.

 

SETTING UP ON SITE

If there is no Waste Water connection between your van and the intake drains, a bucket must be placed to collect your waste water and emptied regularly.

All caravans / camper trailers must have their draw bars facing the roadway in accordance with the Caravan Parks and Camping Grounds Regulations 1997.

All caravans / camp sites must be 3 metres away from each other. This is your responsibility and failure to comply may result in you moving your tent or caravan to adhere to these regulations.

 

WASHING

No washing is to be hung out on your site. Please use the washing and clothes drying facilities available next to both caravan park ablution blocks. Children must be supervised by an adult in the ablution blocks at all times.

 

SITE ALLOCATION

Although we try our best to place you on the site number you request, at no time can we GUARANTEE a particular site number.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

A non-refundable booking fee of $50 per camp site and $100 per cabin is required on booking. This booking fee is credited towards your total tariff on arrival. The balance of your account is required to be paid 28 days prior to arrival to secure your booking. There are no refunds for booking cancellations made 28 days prior to arrival or less.

 

 

 

PLEASE NOTE

Guests and invitees of guests are expected to behave in a manner which is conducive to the safety, comfort and convenience of other guests in the Park. A breach of the “Park Rules” may result in the summary eviction of the offender at the discretion of the Manager.

              

             A breach of the “Park Rules” includes;

                          (i)          noisy, offensive and/or unruly behaviour;

                          (ii)          damage to or destruction of the Cabin

                          (iii)         improper or unseemly conduct;

                          (iv)         any act or omission which, in the opinion of the Manager,

                    adversly affects or brings discredit upon the Manager,

                    Owner or other Guests.
