On the 17th of August 2007, we finally were able to turn off our generators and connect up to Horizon Power!
Horizon Power have their own generators plus 3 wind turbines. The turbines are expected to contribute to approx 70% of Coral Bays power.

Coral Bay’s other new addition is an official boat ramp. We have the official opening on the 7th October by the Minister of Planning and Infrastructure Hon Alannah Mac Tiernan MLA.

Peoples Park is now the only accommodation in town to offer FRESH WATER SHOWERS to all of our guests. Fresh water is now supplied to all of our cabins, shower blocks, basins and laundry facilities.
The water on our sites is artesian bore water which is undrinkable, but fine to wash in. However we have clearly marked drinking taps located at both ablution blocks and at our campers kitchen to fill your water bottles. It is still advisable to fill your tanks with fresh water prior to arriving in Coral Bay. |
